Are you outgoing and do you like to meet new people, or do you enjoy taking care of others and coordinating events? We’re looking for volunteers who have a welcoming heart and a friendly smile. So if you consider yourself an ambassador for Sacred Heart, join us.

Ushers are adult parishioners who assist with various needs before, during and after all Masses such as seating of guest, taking up collections, monitoring the Church environment, assisting with any emergency that might arise during a Liturgy, etc.

Greeters can be either an individual or family who arrive 15 minutes before Mass to welcome all who are coming to worship and available to offer assistance to visitors who may have questions. The Greeters distribute the Parish Bulletin.

• Time Commitment:  Ushers & Greeters typically serve at the Mass they attend, as your schedule allows.
• Responsibilities:  Greeting visitors, answering general questions, helping parishioners find a seat, collecting offertory gifts, and facilitating the Communion procession.
• Training:  No formal training required; on-the-job training provided.
